Pop art

First, I cropped the photo in lightroom before bridging it into photoshop. Then I used the sliders to create blocks of color in the photo. Next I played around with the different colors for the flowers, and multiplied the boxes. then placed them all back together and put it back to lightroom. I've adjusted the contrast, shadows, highlights, exposure and clarity.

musicians

A day on the beach enjoying the ocean and sunny cloud free view as we enjoy the soothing sounds of our guitar. All I did for this photo was cropping , but other than that there are no other edits to this photo.

A small caverned rock on the beach made a slightly more dramatic vibe in this photo. I increased the exposure, contrast, shadows, and the black portions of the photo. Also the beach was very fun and windy.

A bugs eye view bass player during the "Little shop of Horrors" musical. I boosted the exposure, contrast, highlights, and clarity. Also lowered shadows and whites because it was a bit to bright.

The speed of a drummer as he moves swiftly banging on the drums to make a steady beat. I chose to make it slightly blurry so it would seem like he's moving his hands faster. The exposure level has been decreased and so has the highlights, shadows, and whites. Then increased the clarity, contrast, and blacks.

The melody of a pianist and dexterity of his fingers as he plays his own music. I cropped the photo, increased the exposure, contrast, and clarity. Then decreased the highlights, whites and blacks.

colored ink droplets

Frozen drops of food coloring in mid air, just as it hits the water. My shutter speed set on 1000 or more to capture the motion. I increased the contrast and vibrance of the red food coloring.

Food coloring dropped into water and gave off a smoking motion look. I improved the contrast, lowered the exposure and made a more greener background.

Food  coloring fireworks exploding once they impact the water, as they sprout out looking like flowers.
I didn't use that many edits except shadows and contrast.

The beginning of the food coloring looks like a rose under water. Also the green behind it adds a good sense of quality. Increased the contrast and cropped.

frozen water balloon

Frozen in time, just as a balloon bursts by the strike of a knife. The water slightly keeping it's form from the balloon. I increased the contrast, clarity and lowered the exposure.

Landscapes

The rocks and broken wooden posts in this photo demonstrate a independent view in my eyes. I feel like the water puts a good touch on the rock and wooden posts. I went to San Fransico for this photo because I wanted to go to the piers with my friends. I edited the exposure and clarity; also the contrast.

I feel a lot more open, almost reborn from this photo because of the amount of green and the blue sky view. This was on Mt. Diablo, on a very cold rainy/snow top day. I edited the exposure, contrast, saturation and the vibrance of the colors.

When I see this photo, I feel torn apart to see the side of Mt. Diablo burned away from a fire. It reminds me of the memories I had on this mountain. I lowered the exposure and increased the contrast a little.

Near the top of Mt. Diablo, I feel heavenly from the sky lighting emanating through the clouds and onto the mountain side. I increased the saturation and vibrance to put more color into it. Also the exposure level, cropping, and contrast.

AJA #4 and Texture Layer

A selective colored rose in Pasadena. "Change your thoughts and you can change your world." said by Norman Vincent Peale.

A gentleman on a afternoon walk, caged in a society of order. This texture layer consists of a man on a walk and a fence over a freeway in Walnut Creek, both in black and white.
